Who can resist chocolate? Who can resist M&Ms? Not me.
I recently came across an advertisement in a magazine where you can add your logo and/or tag line on an M&M. What a great idea!
You can purchase them in bulk, or have them prepacked in customized packaging. I wouldn’t mind receiving a package of M&Ms from a few of my clients!
They don’t stop there. You can customize an M&M for a wedding, holiday, or other special occasion.

I am currently reading The E-Myth Manager by Michael Gerber and came across a quote that I have heard him repeat in interviews and state in his other books that I want to share with you. I just love it!
“Most businesses are started by Entrepreneurs; the truth is that most businesses are started by Technicians suffering from an entrepreneurial seizure.”
I had the pleasure of attending a Girls in Tech networking meeting last night with a “Fireside Chat with Veronica Belmont” at NextSpace in Santa Cruz. They are a great bunch of people.
At the meeting, I met the folks at 12Seconds. They have a really cool concept, sort of a “Video Facebook.” You can take videos with your mobile phone or web cam to upload 12 second short video clips to share with your friends and family.
Check out some of the 12Second video clips taken at the Girls in Tech meeting. You might find someone you recognize in one of the videos. http://12seconds.tv/find/girlsintech
I read today online that AirTran became the first airline to test WiFi service on their Baltimore/Washington flight. They will charge $12.95 for a “Gogo Flight Pass” that covers both laptops and mobile devices on flights of three hours or longer. For flights less than three hours, the fee drops to $9.95. They also offer a “Mobile Flight Pass” for $7.95 which only covers mobile phone devices. One would have thought that the larger airlines would have beat AirTran to the punch. Delta, American Airlines, and United Airlines are expected to offer WiFi service on domestic flights later this year.
The one problem a passenger might have is the life of their laptop battery. It may not last a three hour flight. I am lucky if my Toshiba lasts 2 hours. I came across an article in an airline magazine several years back which advertised device which will charge a laptop by plugging it into the headset outlet provided at every seat. I will search for the article when I return to Boulder at the end of May and provide an update.
